New  A4A Academy · Founding cohorts

We run two programmes. One will fit your work.

An online academy for people with a quantitative or analytical foundation who want to move faster. Both programmes will run about ten weeks, part-time, and both will end in a real piece of work you can show. Pick the one that matches the decisions you want to influence.

Choose your programme

The craft is the same. The decisions are not.

One is built for people making their way in analytics work. The other is for people whose analysis lands on a policy desk. The teaching standard, the mentoring and the price are identical.

PROGRAMME 01

Business Analytics with AI

For graduates and early-career professionals with a quantitative foundation who want to sharpen their craft and add AI fluency, then turn it into work: a job, clients, or a venture of their own.

PROGRAMME 02

Public Policy Analytics with AI

For early and mid-career people whose work will shape public decisions: government and agencies, development partners and NGOs, think tanks and research, and analysts moving into policy from elsewhere.

Both programmes

Whichever you pick, this is what you'll get.

These are live, guided cohorts. You'll move through one with other people, senior professionals will guide you, and you'll finish with something real to show.

Cohort-based

You'll learn alongside peers doing the same work, so there's accountability and momentum you won't get on your own.

Mentored

You'll get one-on-one sessions and networking with senior professionals working in your field today.

Taught modules

Four in Business Analytics, five in Public Policy Analytics, then you'll work on a real-world mentored project that will reflect what you will be doing at work.

Proof at the end

A finished piece of work, a certificate, and a network of mentors and peers that will outlast the cohort.

Scholarships

Talent shouldn't be priced out.

Every cohort, on both programmes, we set aside scholarships worth up to 70% of tuition for people who'd thrive here but can't cover the full cost. Tell us who you are and why it would help. We'll read every application.

  • Up to 70% of tuition, awarded on merit and need
  • Open to everyone either programme is built for
  • Reviewed every cohort, apply any time

Applying doesn't commit you, it just puts you in the running.

Questions

Choosing between them.

Which one should I pick?

Ask who reads your analysis. If it goes to a manager, a client or an investor, take Business Analytics with AI. If it goes to a director, a minister, a donor or a board that sets policy, take Public Policy Analytics with AI. If you're between the two, register for either and say so; we'll talk it through before you pay anything.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Neither programme teaches programming or basic statistics from scratch. What you need is comfort with numbers and logic. We'll build on that.

Can I do both?

Not at once. They run as separate cohorts and each one is a serious part-time commitment. Alumni of one will get a place ahead of the queue on the other.

What does it cost?

USD $1,100 for either programme, with scholarships of up to 70% so cost isn't a barrier to talented people. Once your place is confirmed, tuition will be due about three weeks before the cohort begins.

Is it self-paced?

No. Both are guided, part-time cohorts with live mentoring, so you won't be learning alone.

When do they start?

We'll share each cohort's dates with everyone who's registered their interest. Register on whichever programme page fits and you'll be first to know.
