Three ways we build capacity
Learning Pulse · in pilot
Exam results tell you who passed. They do not tell you which topic a class lost its marks on, or whether the same topic is costing marks in three states at once. Remedial teaching usually gets planned without either answer.
Learning Pulse measures attainment one curriculum topic at a time, through the year instead of once at the exam. The data comes from practice: every question a student answers sharpens the picture of which topics are understood, by subject, by state and by school.
It is in pilot with a small group of students preparing for WASSCE and UTME. We will not publish findings until the sample is large enough for a ministry to act on.
